Best Research Paper Award and Best Practice Award
This year, in order to enhance EDEN?s system of recognition with the Best Research Paper Award as beacons of the field, the Best Practice Award has been introduced. Parallel to the Best Research Paper Award decision process following the robust selection criteria listed above, the Best Practice Award selection took place. The BPA was awarded by an independent jury, including EDEN Executive Committee and NAP members with e-learning practice assessment and corporate experience was invited to evaluate the papers which were selected with the support of Ulrich Bernath, taken into account the Best Research evaluation procedure. The winner in 2015 is a unique paper, reporting about a successful and valuable research. On the other hand this research was examining and presenting a good practice as well.
This is something we Europeans are proud of. The paper is about inclusion, about enhancing learning processes for disabled learners. It is about reaching these aims with appropriately designed ICT use in pedagogy. As such, it is matching at several points the EU2020 policy aims. We congratulate to the authors of

EDEN Young Scholar Award
The EDEN Young Scholar Award was introduced on the occasion of the 2015 Barcelona Annual Conference.
The Young Scholars? support activities have been for several years on the agenda of EDEN. We have been offering discounted or free registration at the conferences, initiating meetings and special sessions for them, opening fora at NAP and inviting their group to give plenary contributions reflecting the young researchers? viewpoints.
Following the strategic initiative of the Ulrich Bernath Foundation and the Oldenburg University on the occasion of the 2014 Oxford Research Workshop for the support of the best papers by young researchers, the EDEN Executive Committee decided to launch a support scheme beginning with Barcelona this year.
Two young researchers‘ attendance at the Conference has been supported with 600 EUR each and waived conference fee. The competition was announced with the Call for Papers to the conference. The response was convincing and following the evaluations according to the decision of the jury, the Awards go to (see the winning submissions below):
