The EDEN Young Scholars Support Scheme was introduced on the occasion of the 2015 Barcelona Annual Conference. Following the strategic initiative of the Ulrich Bernath Foundation and the Oldenburg University on the occasion of the 2014 Oxford Research Workshop for the support of the best papers by young researchers, the EDEN Executive Committee decided to launch a support scheme beginning with Barcelona this year.
Two young researchers‘ attendance at the Conference has been supported with 600 EUR each and waived conference fee. The competition was announced with the Call for Papers to the conference. The response was convincing and following the evaluations according to the decision of the jury, the Prizes go to:
Daniel Puntis, Newcastle University, United Kingdom and Lina Xue, KU Leuven, Belgium.
