In 2007, 6 scholarly journals with international influence and readership in Europe, North America, Asia, launched a common call for papers :
What is the role of distance education in the implementation of the "right" or "access" to education ?
In 2008, the anniversary year of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, with article 26 declaring the right to education, more than 40 articles in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese, selected by the 6 journals make a unique set of references and can be freely accessed at www.distanceandaccesstoeducation.org
Come and meet the editors of the journals on Tuesday at the morning plenary, and discuss with some of the authors of the articles at the two following parallel sessions.
