#EDENChat: From evaluation to creation: theoretical and practical tools for Open Educational Resources

Open educational resources (OERs) can be full courses/programs, course materials, modules, student guides, teaching notes, textbooks, research articles, videos, assessment tools and instruments, interactive materials such as simulations and role plays, databases, software, apps (including mobile apps) and any other educationally useful materials. OERs are free and they can be adapted and remixed. The goal of the #EDENChat will be to share theoretical reflections and practical tools for the OERs assessment and creation, with the EDEN academic and professional community.

Francesca Amenduni is a PhD Student in Experimental Pedagogy. Her expertise is in the e-learning field both as practitioner and researcher. She has worked as e-learning tutor and instructional designer since 2015. She carried research related to blended learning and her current PhD project regards semi-automated assessment of Critical Thinking in e-learning environments.


#EDENChat is an online discussion event on Twitter initiated by Steering Committee of the EDEN Network of Academics and Professionals (NAP). It is mediated by members of the NAP community and runs for approximately 1 hour. Anyone can join in and contribute to the discussion which is presented in a Question and Answer format, and focuses on current issues in distance, open and e-learning. All sessions start at 18:00 CET.
