#EDENChat: MOOC strategies in European higher education

MOOC development and innovation in Europe is growing steadily and has overtaken that of North America and many European institutions are developing MOOCs on local or regional platforms rather than via the major consortia. There is also a growing level of collaboration between European institutions and with external partners. These are some of the conclusions of a major survey and report from 2017, MOOC strategies of European Institutions (EADTU/MOONLITE 2017). A new survey is currently in progress and this week’s #EDENChat will discuss the present status of MOOC development in Europe and the challenges ahead. The session will be led by Alastair Creelman, from Linnaeus University, Sweden, and will take place on 21 March, 2018 at 20:00.
