#EDENChat: What are Open Credentials & Open Badges?

Join our Network of Academics and Professionals (NAP) members in discussing current issues and questions in distance, open and e-learning. The last #EDENChat of the year will take place on 20 December at 20:00 CET, where Open Credentials and Open Badges will be the topic. The discussion will be led by Ilona Buchem, Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin.

Ilona Buchem is Professor for Media and Communication at Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin. Her research interests include emerging technologies for learning, such as digital credentials / Open Badges. She has been coordinating and working in a number of research project related to Open Badges and Open Education, including two recent Erasmus+ strategic partnerships – Open Badge Network (2014-2017) and Open Virtual Mobility (2017-2020). Ilona Buchem is a frequent speaker at conferences and author of a number of publications on digital learning. Find out more on her homepage.

#EDENChat is an online discussion event on Twitter initiated by the Steering Committee of the EDEN Network of Academics and Professionals (NAP).
