EquNet Campaign 2011 Winners Announced

EquNet announced the winner of the EquNet Competition 2011. The aim of the campaign was to provide a platform for people to express their views and their activities regarding the equity issues in the European higher education system. The submitted works present the individual’s point of views and experience, as well as, good practices of organisations working on the field.

Visit the project’s website to see the winner and other outstanding contributions of the campaign.

EquNet aims to increase access to Higher Education for all marginalized and non-traditional groups based on the principle of equity. The best and worst practices will be highlighted in the project, together with the focus on understanding the barriers to entry to Higher Education, and the incorporation of stakeholders to help propose solutions. Based on this research, the project aims to give implementable recommendations as to how to improve accessibility to Higher Education. The first EquNet report, “Evolving Diversity: An overview of equitable access to Higher Education in Europe” has been published and available in the EquNet Repository
