In these uncertain times due to the Coronavirus COVID-19, many of us are struggling with the adjustment to working and teaching online. Where do you begin? How do you manage the process?
To address these questions and many others, EDEN is organising a series of practical webinars entitled “EDEN webinar series: Education in time of a pandemic #onlinetogether #covid19”. These webinars are featuring experts and experienced practitioners within the field of open, distance, and e-learning.
The weekly, one-hour sessions are held every Monday at 17:00 CEST, from March through June, 2020.
One of the more urgent questions facing educators today is: How do I manage assessment in online learning environments?
In the next webinar of EDEN’s Education in a Pandemic Series, we’ll be tackling this question and others related to the topic of online assessment. For example, how do we ensure academic integrity? How can we ensure that our students aren’t cheating? What measures can we put in place to ensure learning is happening and to assess it effectively? EDEN Fellows Alfredo Soeiro, Lisa Marie Blaschke, and Mark Brown will be available to answer your questions and to talk about their experiences and practices in assessing learning outcomes in e-learning, while providing examples of online assessment, for example, use of the e-portfolio in developing and showcasing student competences and skills.
You will meet
