Invitation to the Open Badge MOOC, Session 3

After the successful run of the first two sessions of the Open Badges MOOC: Session 1: Employers’ engagement with Open Badges and Session 2: Policy and Open Badges, the Open Badge Network project would now like to invite all to participate in the third, last session:
Session 3: Open Badges in Higher Education, running between 15 May 2017 – 09 July 2017

This part of the OBN MOOC is dedicated to Open Badges in Higher Education and will be run by Prof. Dr. Ilona Buchem, from the Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin, who is also the Coordinator of the Open Badge Network project founded under the ERASMUS+ grant of the European Union.

During the 8 weeks of this MOOC session we will discuss a range of key issues around Open Badges in Higher Education, including use cases, quality assurance, alignment with competency frameworks and policies on higher and open education in Europe and beyond. There will be plenty of examples from practice and interactive activities in which participants can share their ideas and opinions. We have also invited a number of superb guest speakers to share their insights on Open Badges in Higher Education in the four webinars, which will open each of the four modules of the session.
