LeHo: International network for Home and Hospital Education through ICT

Did you know that there are hundreds of thousands of young people across Europe and the rest of the world with medical needs?  Did you know that the majority recover and go on to be successful members of their communities? Hospital schools and home tuition programmes make sure that students not only keep up with their education while they are ill, but that they go on to achieve magnificent things after they recover.

LeHo – financed by the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Commission – is developing an online hub that will provide tools and resources for those engaged- or involved in home and hospital-based education. In the first phase of this 3-year project, a definition of the key educational factors and good practice in the field will be used to meet the next project aims, such as, providing a Practical Guide and a Toolkit for everybody involved in Home and Hospital Education (HHE). See more details on the LeHo online hub where you can also subscribe to the LeHo newsletter for project updates (the first issue with our initial results will be released in September 2014).
