Digital skills for teachers: DigiSkills good practices on videoThree short videos were shot at the last European DigiSkills Workshop during the 2014 EDEN Annual Conference in Zagreb to introduce good practices by their representatives. As one of the outcomes of the discussions was that video explanations of these practices support the use and reuse of experiences, those who were happy to share their practices explained them on camera. Digital resources as a new strategical factor for a renovation of modernization in higher education (D-TRANSFORM)This Strategic Partnership project aims to be a contribution to the modernisation of Europe’s higher education systems as outlined in the 2011 EU Modernisation agenda. Among key targets outlined by the Commission, D-TRANSFORM takes into account the need for: 1. improving the quality and relevance of higher education (HE) through new technologies and more flexible and personalized teaching and 2. increasing investment in HE, through more diversified and flexible funding sources (drawing, to a larger extent, on private funding). The goal is to implement a training program for leaders of European universities (presidents, vice-presidents) focusing on the major role played by digital technologies (MOOCS, etc.) and Open Educational Resources (OER) in the necessary transformation of their institutions. Meet with D-TRANSFORM in Barcelona in June 2015, at the EDEN Annual Conference. To kick off and stimulate the brainstorming, a panel of senior University leaders will be questioned in a provoking way about their needs of being advised on strategic issues of modernisation. |
