First Issue

What is OpenPROF?

OpenPROF  - Open Professional Collaboration for Innovation is a two-year long co-operation of a European consortium. In these 2 years, we will organise trainings of teachers and trainers and develop open educational resources with open curriculum and licensing via open collaboration. The project is for diverse target groups on the field of education and learning, including work-based learning. We foster open and international professional collaboration for innovation by training to openly collaborate in the development of online innovative curriculum designing using open educational resources.

Create your Open Education Resource!

OpenProf partners will create three training materials that help you to develop OER content. The first training material on Open Educational Resources and sustainability moders is now available on our web. We will offer curricula and materials for our OERs, 6 online courses, with resources developed or adapted various languages, ICT tools and innovative solutions.

OpenPROF at the 2015 EDEN Annual Conference

OpenProf project will actively participate in the Synergy Strand of EDEN Annual Conference 2015 in Barcelona. If you feel, you might have find any synergies between OpenProf and your themes, meet us in the Synergy working group: Synergy Session H5 Skilled teachers through open classrooms to innovative learning on Friday morning at 11 AM: See the OpenPROF contribution in the Conference Programme

Open Professional Collaboration for Innovation Conference

The conference called „Open Professional Collaboration for Innovation“ will take place in Kaunas (Lithuania) on November 5, 2015 which will gather professionals from sectors of education working for open, professional collaboration to improve the quality of education through openness and innovative curriculum design. We are committed to learning. With each newsletter, you will get to know one member of the consortium. In this newsletter, meet Fondo Formación Euskadi:


Changes in education institutions is a reality, and teachers and trainers working at education institutions, as well as professionals and specialists in VET centers need to update their competences. Therefore this project will give us the opportunity to learn new methods of learning (work - based learning, collaborative learning methods, e-learning and open education initiatives) using the approach of OER to offer our teachers and trainers in order to help them to be more competitive. FONDO FORMACION EUSKADI is a human capital organization whose mission is the development of people and improvement of organizations. With more than 15 years of experience, nowadays, FFE has more than 100 professional workers with different profiles that include from consultancy, training and human resources management, trainers, administration. FFE has seven trainer centers and wide experience in transnational cooperation projects for the research, development and innovation in the improvement of competences.
 FFE colleagues involved in OpenPROF are:
ZALOA MICHELENA: She works as technician in the Projects Department with a wide experience in training and employment european projects.
MARTA PALACIO: Graduated in Sociology by the University of the Basque Country, she works as manager in the Projects Department with a wide experience in training and employment European projects (more than 10 years), developing and managing European projects mainly as coordinator.
