The event is co-hosted by the Open Discovery Space, DigiSkills and GreeNET projects.

Call for submissions:

Submissions addressing one or more of the conference themes are welcome in either standard paper or Synergy formats. The deadline for submission is 15 August.

Acknowledging achievements at the conference:

To celebrate and multiply the impact of some of these projects' most successful activities the first two days of the conference will highlight an impressive spectrum of different open schooling and teacher training initiatives and accomplishments. Complementing the ODS virtual acknowledgements expressed via multiple online channels, we'll also be awarding our best teachers face to face for their professional achievements and contributions to their schools' development.

During the third, Scholarly Contributions Day, academics and professionals will present their research and validated practices. Based on its continuing success, the EDEN "Synergy" strand will be weaved into the programme in Athens as well, adding a "project magnet" effect to the conference and enabling new partnerships to be created and old ones to be strengthened and expanded.

The D4L Conference serves as a forum for the discussion and exchange of information on the research, development, and applications on all topics related to the use of digital technology for inclusion.

The tradition of EDEN Best Research Paper Award will be continued at the conference.

The proceedings will be published by Aalborg University Press.

Demystifying ICT in Education - DigiSkills Summer News and Evaluation

The latest DigiSkills Newsletter includes useful information on the final conference in the framework of the Open Classroom Conference in Athens, new practices for teachers and trainers using ICT in various levels of education featured in the Good Practice Repository, and latest information on past events and recently published resources. On the Digiskills website, you now have access to the Digiskills Online Community, the Good Practice Inventory as well as the Digital Competence Training Academy with OER courses for teachers and trainers who want to update their digital skills for learning. This resource inventory is aiming all levels of educators, from primary to higher education and adult learning.

Open Professional Collaboration for Innovation

The Newsletter of OpenPROF - Open Professional Collaboration for Innovation is now available. The project organises trainings for teachers and trainers and develops open educational resources (OERs) with open curriculum and licensing via open collaboration. OpenProf partners will create three training materials that help you to develop OER content. The first training material on Open Educational Resources and sustainability models is now available on the project website: curricula and materials for OERs, 6 online courses, with resources developed in or adapted various languages, ICT tools and innovative solutions will be developed and made available.


Web based e-assessment platform released by TALOE

Within the TALOE (Time to Assess Learning Outcomes in E-learning) project, a web tool is developed with the aim to help teachers deciding on the e-assessment strategies and better relating to the learning outcomes with assessment methods. The tool is tested, finalised and it is open to public.

eLearning Papers Call on “The Teacher's Role in Educational Innovation”

The online journal eLearning Papers is welcoming submissions for issue 44 on "The Teacher's Role in Educational Innovation". Deadline for submissions is 4th of August.

Issue 44 of eLearningPapers aims to investigate teacher-led innovations in Europe in greater depth. We need to inspire more teacher-led innovations in Europe. We need to see inspiration and improvement at all levels: in classrooms, schools, other institutions, and in education administration. We need to connect students, teachers, principals, policymakers, researchers and other innovators in order to create sustainable innovations. Read the full Call here.

eQTeL’s Higher Education Institutions’ Capacity Building Training hosted in UOC’s headquarters
