Projects, Practices, Showcases - EU projects kicking off

STAY-IN: Student guidance at the university for inclusion

STAY IN is a two-years project co-funded under the European Commission’s Lifelong Learning programme, Erasmus Multilateral Projects, that aims at providing a comprehensive on going guidance service to higher university students, including e-guidance, to contribute to increase educational achievement in higher education.

STAY IN seeks therefore to design and develop a service able to support higher education students during their academic career, by offering guidance and e-guidance to access available opportunities within the universities and in the communities where the universities are players. Guidance is conceived as personalised support for each student to tackle potential obstacles that lead to disengagement and drop-out. More information will be available soon on the EDEN website.

DigiSkills Project Brings Together Digital Competence Development of Teachers And Educational Repositories

A new project kicked off in December 2012 with EDEN participation to serve as an accelerator of the sharing, adoption, usage, and re-purposing of the already rich existing eLearning resources to teachers. The project plans to demonstrate ways to involve Secondary Education, Higher Education and Adult Education communities in innovative teaching and learning practices through the effective use of eLearning resources. As a first activity, the project invited teachers and trainers to its Summer School in July to Crete to run the first needs analysis and focus groups: http://digiskills.ea.gr/
