EDEN is very excited to announce the launch of its new web portal. We wanted to make the new portal faster, easier to navigate, and more user-friendly with an uncluttered design. Have a look and discover it for yourself.
After a long discussion about the modernisation of the image of the Association we have finally launched the new EDEN portal. By using 9 menu items the content became more and better structured. Moving the cursor above the menu items the item gets highlighted and a scroll-down menu shows the subgroups. This way you can find what you are looking for.
The new portal is sleek and is equipped with some features that the old one didn’t have. Just to mention a few: the news items are grouped into categories (Events, EDEN’s news, Partners’ news , Projects, Publications and Other news), and the individual news items have tags related to the content. This way our visitors can screen the news for related content.
You will find the recognitions issued by EDEN grouped by type and year of issue. EDEN conferences are also grouped by type and searchable by year. Projects got a separate page listing all projects EDEN is or was participating in. You will find our publications like EURODL, Proceedings, keynotes, etc. under the menu item called Resources. EDEN’s contribution to professional policy subjects are under the menu item Policy work. You can jump into the NAP members area as well as to the EDEN Academy portal (under construction). We also added a Google search onto the portal: the search goes through all content on the portal.
We do not want to describe the obvious, we just encourage you to use the portal and test its functionality. We hope it will better serve the needs of our community.
