The EDEN Executive Committee held its meeting on 7 February in Leuven. It was a great opportunity to prepare the 2012 Research Workshop to be organised in October at the University of Leuven. The workshop on which details will be announced soon will be hosted in the historic main medieval building of the University, in exceptional setting.
The EC has noted the withdrawal of its member, Professor Gilly Salmon who worked in most of 2011 in Australia and recently occupied a senior position at the Swinburne University. EDEN will maintain close relations with Gilly and wishes her lots of success in the new environment. The new EC members in the place of Gilly will be elected at the Annual General Meeting in Porto in June.
