PLEIADE project officially started!

The partners of the project PLEIADE (PLayful Environment for Inclusive leArning Design in Europe) met for the first time virtually on 12 October 2020 in the Kick off meeting. Here the project partners introduced to each other and discussed several items such as risk management, evaluation of the project, project planning and first elements of the project visual identity.

The first meeting of the Steering Committee was held on 16 November 2020. During this meeting selected members of the project partners discussed financial and reporting aspects. The Partnership Agreement was also presented.

The project (2020-1-IT02-KA201-080089) is financed by the Erasmus+ Key Action 2: Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices – Strategic Partnerships for school education.

PLEIADE will establish the connection and collaboration among 75 teachers from different school realities and challenges. These teachers will co-create activities that promote social inclusion in schools. The learning environment for teachers will include advanced game-like elements drawing on a hybrid (tangible and digital) game (the I4Ts game) and a bespoke gamified platform designed to support teacher interaction, cooperation and, ultimately, collaboration.

The project team is coordinated by CNR, the National Research Council of Italy, based in Genova. Project partners are: EDEN (United Kingdom), OpenLab S.r.L. (Firenze, Italy), Sofia University St Kliment Ohridski (Bulgaria) and four schools: 144 Secondary School Narodni Buditeli (Sofia, Bulgaria), Neapolis Gymnasium (Limassol, Cyprus), S.Aygoulea-Linardatou Anonimi Ekpaideftiki Etairia (Athens, Greece), Scuola secondaria di 1° grado “Rocca-Bovio-Palumbo” (Trani, Italy).
