ePIC will be organised just before the EDEN Annual Conference, taking place at the same venue, in Catalonia Barcelona Plaza Hotel.

International Editors’ Workshop In Educational Technology Journals

The first summit of electronic journals on ICT enhanced learning!

At this workshop (for invited editors only) – organised by Universitat Oberta de Catalunya – editors of leading online publishers from all continents will gather just before the start of the EDEN 2015 Annual Conference.
The Editors Workshop will be followed by an Open Round Table in the afternoon, organized around four presentations by four journal editors. Attendance is open to all interested EDEN 2015 Conference participants, although registration is necessary due to space limitations.

HOME – How Europe seizes the opportunities offered by MOOCs

The HOME project will organise a masterclass “How Europe seizes the opportunities offered by MOOCs” as pre-conference event to the EDEN2015 conference. The programme will start with a general overview of the status of MOOC offering in Europe. The recent report Institutional MOOC strategies in Europe will be discussed as well as the analysis of the 15 position papers for European cooperation on MOOCs. In addition, HOME’s latest analysises will be presented on didactical and pedagogical approaches, shared (educational) services and sustainable business models for joint European MOOCs.

UOC: Expanding Learning in an Online/digital World

Participants in the 2015 EDEN Conference are invited to attend this UOC-focused session that will familiarize the audience with some of the elements supporting the pedagogical model that have made our university a world-wide reference in online education.
The session will be presided by UOC Vice rector for Research and Strategic Planning, Marta Aymerich,  and will offer further four presentations.
