Position, Work experience

Ene Koitla started working at the Estonian Information Technology Foundation in June 2003 and she is the Head of the Estonian e-Learning Development Centre.

Estonian e-Learning Development Centre coordinates the activities of two consortia – Estonian e-University and Estonian e-Vet with an aim to to implement e-learning solutions and support e-learning related activities based on the principles of lifelong learning.

 

Estonian e-University was founded on February 16, 2003. Estonian e-University has 7 universities. Estonian e-VET was founded on February 16, 2005. There are 30 vocational schools and 6 applied universities in the Estonian e-Vet consortium. The main goal of the consortiums is to cooperate in the following areas:

  1. e-Learning content development
  2. Staff training (teachers, educational technologists)
  3. Staff support (educational technologists)
  4. Infrastructure
  5. e-Learning studies
  6. Coordination of the e-Learning programs

Ene Koitla graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Tartu and is postgraduate (in Management of Information Technology) at the Institute of Informatics of University of Tallinn.
