Andrea Karpati, Professor of the Eotvos Lorand University, Centre for Multimedia and Educational Technology, Budapest received the EDEN Fellow Award at the opening session of the Synergy Workshop. She has been a pioneer and important driving force in developing ICT enhanced learning in the Hungarian higher education and promoter of media use and culture development in learning.Andrea worked in the EDEN Executive Committee member for six years with great commitment. She provided strong support for the Open Classroom activities and conferences and was the initiator of the ?Young Scholars support movement? of the Executive Committee.
The title is awarded to EDEN members who have demonstrated excellence in professional practice of open, distance and e-learning in Europe and provided valued support to the evolution and progress of EDEN.
