The 2018 Mobile Learning Week is organized at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris from 26 to 30 March 2018. Under the theme of “Skills for a connected world”, MLW2018 seeks to:
- Define and mainstream digital skills in education;
- Innovate skills provision for jobs in the digital economy;
- Close inequalities and gender divides in digital skills; and
- Map and anticipate the changing needs for digital skills.
The Director-General of UNESCO, the Director-General of International Labour Office (ILO), the Secretary-General of International Telecom Communication (ITU), African Union Commissioner for Human Resources, Science and Technology, European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society, and more than ten Ministers of Education/Telecommunication have confirmed their participation in the event.
