GALA DINNER

 

The five course Gala Dinner with selected wines will be held at the Pesti Vigado, one of Budapest’s gems, which lies on the World Heritage Site of the Danube embankment. This occasion will serve as celebration of the first 25 years of EDEN with prestigious invited Dinner speakers, entertainment and the Best Research Paper Award.

This unique and most beautiful architectural design of Hungarian romanticism once used to function as a centre of Hungarian art life, featuring such great artists as Béla Bartók, György Cziffra, Claude Debussy, Franz Liszt, Sviatoslav Richter, Arthur Rubinstein, Maurice Ravel and Richard Strauss.

The façade of the palace is decorated by the Hungarian Coat of Arms and the likenesses of outstanding figures in Hungarian history. The pillar statues were sculpted by Károly Alexy. The frescos inside the building were painted by Károly Lotz and Mór Than.
