EDEN Newsflash - Special Edition 2

Dear EDEN Member,

We are delighted to announce that Past President and Senior Fellow of EDEN, Ingeborg Bř is awarded the Norwegian King's Medal of Merit in silver!

The medal was awarded by Odd Reinsfelt, Mayor of Bćrum at this year's conference of NADE - Norwegian Association for Distance and Flexible Education, held 17-18 November at University of Oslo.

The Royal Medal of Service (in Norwegian: Kongens fortjenestemedalje) was instituted in 1908 to reward meritorious achievements in the fields of art, science, business and public service.

Ingeborg received the medal for her many years of effort on the distance learning area, nationally and internationally.

EDEN is proud and pleased for the award which is evidently the recognition of Ingeborg's continued commitment in the field of education and learning.

We are congratulating Ingeborg and wish, also on the occasion of her recently celebrated birthday, further professional challenges, much success and happiness in her personal life, as well.
