VISIR 2nd Stakeholders Consultation Launched

The VISIR project – “Vision, Scenarios, Insights and Recommendations “ is the initiative of seven European networks one research centre and one University involved in the open, distance and e-learning field. It aims to develop a shared vision on how ICT may help making lifelong learning a reality.

In this 2nd survey, we invite you to discuss how ICT can contribute to a set of key policy objectives in the field of learning.

The title of the consultation is:

“Reacting to change and transforming European LLL: the contribution of ICT in addressing key concerns related to learning innovation”

Consultation is available in English, German, French, Italian and Spanish.

Participation takes cc. 10-15 minutes.

Results of the First consultation “What are the most relevant factors of change and how do they affect LLL?” are downloadable: 1st Consultation Executive Summary and the full 1st Consultation Paper.


Join the NEST Community: Network of Staff and Teachers in Childcare Services

NEST is a European project funded by the European Commission within the Lifelong Learning Programme with the aim of establishing a network in the field of staff development in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) in Europe.

The project has just finished its first year, dedicated to stakeholder analyses, initial network building and the setting up of a multilingual NEST portal, where communities of pracice of ECEC professionals in Italian, Spanish, Hungarian, Slovenian, Greek, Finnish and German national working groups are foreseen. The portal also includes a multilingual and expanding pool of repositories where professionals and researchers alike can find data, good practices, policies and learning resources etc.

The partnership published a project newsletter (available also in German, Hungarian, Italian, Spanish and Greek) to share the results achieved and to invite interested parties to join the NEST community to have the opportunity to reach fellow ECEC professionals working with children under 6, trainers and institutions of ECEC staff development, as well as researchers focusing on these areas.
