EuroPACE membership integrated to EDEN

With the ceasing organisational activities of EuroPACE, we welcome in the EDEN Community - based on the decision of the Boards of the two Associations - the EuroPACE institutions from January 2014, in order to continue their activities within EDEN.

There has been a long and good history of the partnership and co-operation of the two European networks since the early 90es. With different focus of activities, both organisations have played important role during the last decades in the development of the ICT supported learning. The trajectories of the two organisations have converged and will now continue in the EDEN frames, using among others the members’ infrastructure and tools in the EDEN Network of Academics and Professionals (NAP) like the portal, networking tools and structures.

YOUR input needed: policy recommendations for OER uptake

Policies for OER Uptake (POERUP) looks at in-depth case studies of user and producer communities of OER in Europe and abroad. The project has already created an inventory of over 400 OER projects and published numerous reports on European and Gulf states. Based on this research, POERUP has come up with three sets of recommendations for encouraging OER uptake in schools, colleges, and universities.

Now, POERUP needs the input of end users and producers of OER on these policy recommendations. The overview of the policy recommendations and the full draft documents are available on Open Education Europa where your are invited to share your comments and feedback.
